Monastery St. Joakim Of Osogovo
The monastery of St. Joakim Osogovski is located on the wonderful slopes of the Osogovo mountains, only 3 km northeast from Kriva Palanka. The monastery is known as "Sarandopor", after the place where it was built. The Osogovski monastery is one of the most attractive cultural monuments in the Republic of Macedonia.
The monastery has its doors open for wider presentation with all the things which were done in the primary buildings together with other parts of this architectural complex. The monastery complex itself is on 825 m height above sea level. The average value of air temperature is 10.8?C (summer average temperature - 16.7?C; summer average humidity - 62%). These elements contribute to make the stay of the visitors even more pleasant.
